Some weddings feel like poetry. For Aditi and Raghav, their dream was always a royal, intimate, and magical celebration — and they found their perfect setting at the iconic Jagmandir Island Palace in Udaipur.
At Wedding Picasso, we were honored to bring their vision to life. From the serene boat baraat to the majestic mandap under the stars, here’s a glimpse into their 2-day destination wedding in Udaipur.
“We didn’t want a wedding — we wanted an experience. And that’s exactly what Udaipur and Wedding Picasso gave us.” – Aditi
A soft Rajasthani breeze carried the scent of mogra and turmeric as Aditi arrived for her mehendi in a yellow floral lehenga. The poolside courtyard was dressed in marigold blooms, gota streamers, and cane seating for a modern boho vibe.
Guests were ferried across Lake Pichola to Jagmandir Island for the first time. The sangeet was set in the marble courtyard, lit with fairy lights, chandeliers, and a shimmering LED stage.
“Dancing in a palace, surrounded by water and our loved ones — it felt like a dream.” – Raghav
The big day began with Raghav’s boat baraat — a dhol-filled procession across the lake. Aditi arrived in a vintage car, draped in ivory and gold. The wedding mandap was set up against the palace façade, with sunset light washing the marble in gold.
The reception was a candlelit dinner under the stars. The long banquet tables were decorated with pastel florals, floating candles, and handwritten menus. A saxophone trio played while guests mingled over cocktails and a global menu.
“We couldn’t have pulled off this level of coordination, design, and hospitality without the Wedding Picasso team. They were our vision, our voice, and our safety net through it all.” – Aditi & Raghav
